Rates and Reservations

There is a 6% Bahamian Hotel Tax on the total rental fee - we will collect it at time of the final payment. 
Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of 50% of the rental fee, with the balance due 60 days before arrival date, plus a refundable $200  security/damage deposit. 
Cancellation policy -
60 days or more prior to arrival date - 100% refund of Rental Fee minus $100
30 to 60 days prior to arrival date - 50% refund of Rental Fee minus $100 (100% if replacement booking is found)
30 days or less - no refund unless replacement booking for the allotted time period is found (less $100)

Sorry, Driftaway is not suitable for children under 12, or pets.

                    $1,600 / week for 3 persons
                    $1,800 / week for 4 persons

    September 1 to Christmas Week
                    $1,200 / week for 1-2 persons
                    $1,400 / week for 3 persons
                    $1,600 / week for 4 persons

   Christmas & New Year weeks
                    $1,500 / week for 1-2 persons
                    $1,700 / week for 3 persons
                    $1,900 / week for 4 persons

THINGS TO BRING WITH YOU.....

Proof of Citizenship - A passport, plus one other picture ID (such as a driver's license).

Special Articles - Bring all prescription drugs or needed medications, sunscreens in varying strengths, insect repellent. 
                            The local stores also have a limited and pricey selection.

Beach Gear - Bring Beach towels, your own snorkeling, scuba and/or fishing gear.  Diving & fishing equipment can also be rented locally.

Clothing - Casual clothes and swimsuits are the order of life here.  But when in town, Bahamians would prefer that you cover up swimsuits. 

Cash or Travelers' Checks - Most restaurants and shops accept most major credit cards as do other island establishments,
                                            but cash will be needed for taxis, liquor, food and incidentals.
                                            United States or Bahamian currency are used at a one-for-one rate.
